Dakota Landscape

About Dakota Landscape

April in Lincoln County arrives as mud and meltwater, the black soil letting go of the frost an inch at a time. Then one warm week turns everything around Harrisburg green at once, and the growing season starts in a hurry. Dakota Landscape meets it with the spring cleanup first, raking out the matted grass and winter debris so light and air can reach the crowns, then falls into a steady rhythm of mowing, trimming and edging. Weed control follows through the summer, before the volunteers from the field edges get comfortable. It is honest satisfaction to see a yard come back thick after a long prairie winter, and to have had a hand in it.
