Tim’s Cutting Edge

About Tim’s Cutting Edge

After a blizzard moves off down the Big Sioux River valley, Estelline goes still under a blue dusk, every roofline softened and each driveway buried to the knee. Tim's Cutting Edge provides snow removal here, opening driveways, sidewalks and lots once the wind has had its say. The name suits the work: a blade set down true and carried straight, leaving a sharp line between pavement and bank. Winter asks a great deal of a river-valley town, and getting the way out cleared makes the next morning feel possible. By the time the porch lights come on, Estelline's streets have been lifted clear of the drifts.
