About Lakeside Services, LLC

Dakota Dunes was built around water — ponds that trace the golf course, a levee holding back the Missouri River just beyond the last row of houses — and in winter that water freezes into its own flat white shapes among the curving streets. Lakeside Services, LLC plows the community's cul-de-sacs and the driveways that back up to those ponds, working streets that curve instead of running in a grid like the towns just across the river. The levee road stays open through the winter, and the crew clears it along with the residential drives that branch off it toward the water. Snow across the ponds and fairways looks like an extension of the yards around it, one continuous white surface until a plowed driveway cuts a dark line through it. The company works the planned streets end to end, from the levee road to the cul-de-sacs furthest from the water.
