MRZ Tree Service

About MRZ Tree Service

In the older residential blocks of Brookings, decades-old trees form a canopy that holds bare and stark against the winter sky, branches clicking against each other whenever the prairie wind picks up enough to move them. MRZ Tree Service clears the driveways under that canopy, working streets where a storm often means snow held longer in the shaded gaps between houses than out on the open avenues nearby. Evening is when this crew often finishes its last pass, streetlights coming on under the bare branches, cold settling in fast the way it does once the sun drops below a flat prairie horizon. A driveway scraped clean under trees that will drop the day's last bit of snow onto it the moment the wind shifts might need doing again by morning, and that's simply accounted for rather than resented. As the light fades and the wind moves through those bare branches once more, the driveways along these older blocks sit dark and dry, waiting out whatever comes next.
