About Designs By ODL

Brookings is a town that already knows what a planted bed can do — McCrory Gardens sits right at its edge, proving every summer that this prairie soil will grow far more than corn. Designs By ODL works in that same spirit, starting with a drawing and a walk around the property before a single shovel goes in the ground. Landscape design, plantings and lawn care come together into something that reads as one idea rather than a collection of purchases. The reward arrives a season or two later, when the shrubs fill in and the whole yard finally looks like it was always meant to be that way. Patience is half the craft here, and the wide Dakota light does the rest.
