Meister Mowing

About Meister Mowing

Monday starts early in Aberdeen. The dew is still down, the streets are empty except for a train working through on the west side, and the first lawn of the week gets cut before most of the block is awake. Meister Mowing spends its days on that one craft done properly — mowing at the right height for the weather, trimming what the deck cannot reach, edging the walk so the finish is unmistakable, then clearing the clippings off the concrete before moving on. The prairie growing season is brief and it does not wait, so the route runs steady from the first cut in May to the last one before the freeze, with cleanups on either end. There is nothing complicated about it, and that is the whole appeal.
