Matt's Tree Service

About Matt's Tree Service

Out on the Brown County flats the wind never really quits, and every tree standing in Aberdeen is standing because somebody planted it and meant it. Matt's Tree Service looks after that hard-won shade — pruning cottonwoods and ash before an ice load finds the weak union, trimming crowns off rooflines, taking down what has finally given out. When a spring blizzard or a heavy wet snow breaks a shelterbelt open, the cleanup means an open drive and the wood carried away so a yard is usable again. Prairie trees earn their keep, and keeping them sound is worth the trouble: clean cuts, no torn bark, nothing left lying in the grass. Around Aberdeen and the towns along the James, that care is the whole business.
