About The Wizard Of Sod & More

Late March in York County is a small piece of magic: the brown gives way on the south-facing slopes first, the crape myrtles start to think about it, and inside two weeks the whole town has gone green again. The Wizard Of Sod & More times the first mow to that turn and keeps the rhythm from there — cutting, trimming close around trunks and fence posts, edging the walks back to a clean line. Blowing finishes each visit, drive and porch swept. Spring and fall cleanups clear off whatever winter and autumn leave lying. There is no trick to it, only good timing and showing up — though out toward Tirzah the result looks like one.
