Mother Nature cuts

About Mother Nature cuts

A Midlands thunderstorm rolls over the south end of Winnsboro on a May afternoon, empties itself in twenty minutes, and leaves everything growing twice as hard. Mother Nature cuts answers that — mowing on the rhythm the weather sets, trimming around mailboxes and air units, running the edge along the walkway, sweeping the cuttings off the concrete before pulling out. Nature does the growing around here with genuine enthusiasm, and the cutting is the other half of that bargain. Something restful settles over a yard brought back to level after a week of rain. By evening the honeysuckle carries on the air, the mowing is done, and the place looks looked-after.
