About 843 Landscaping

The Lowcountry answers to three digits, and 843 Landscaping carries them down West Ashley's side streets before the heat can find them. Work starts early here, mowers running while dew still weighs on the Bermuda and the air off the Ashley is thick enough to drink. Edges come out clean along the sidewalks off Savannah Highway, string trimmers take the corners a mower deck can't reach, and everything gets blown back to the pavement it came from. By the time the afternoon stacks up its usual anvil of clouds, the yards are cut and the lines are straight. There is a plain satisfaction in a lawn that looks tended from the car window and better from the porch.
