About DRT Land Services

Along the banks off the old Spartanburg highway, kudzu will take a fence line in a single wet summer if nobody argues with it. DRT Land Services does the arguing — mowing rough grass and open ground back down to something walkable, trimming out fence lines and the corners no deck can reach, then clearing the cuttings when it is done. There is a particular pleasure in the before and after: waist-high at breakfast, level and open by afternoon, the true shape of a lot visible again. Red clay, hard heat and everything that wants to grow in it — those are the working conditions here, and the work suits them. Wellford, Duncan, Moore, Woodruff and Spartanburg.
