About LowCountry Lawn Care

West of Walterboro the Ashepoo, the Combahee and the Edisto spread out into marsh, and the light coming off that water in late afternoon turns every lawn in the county a shade warmer than it was at noon. LowCountry Lawn Care favors the back half of the day for exactly that reason — heat easing, cut grass throwing its own green smell, the last pass laid down into a low sun. Mowing, edging, trimming, blowing: four moves, done in order, carried all the way to the property line. Centipede and St. Augustine both want to be cut high and cut often down here, and the yards that get it show it. Sweep the walk, then pull out while the light is still good.
