Emazing Lawncare

About Emazing Lawncare

By two in the afternoon a July sky over the Edisto will pile up white, then go slate, and half an hour later the whole of Walterboro smells like rain on hot asphalt. Emazing Lawncare reads that sky for a living. The route bends around it — mow ahead of the cell, trim under the tail of it, circle back for the blowing once the walks have dried. Wet grass clumps and tears; dry grass cuts clean and stands up, and the stripe holds all week. It's a small thing to notice, and it's the whole difference between a yard that's been cut and a yard that's been kept.
