About Four Ninety Outdoors

October in Walhalla smells like cut grass and woodsmoke at once, and the town leans into its German name for a weekend while the hills go copper behind it. Four Ninety Outdoors keeps mowing right through it; the growth slows but never quite stops, and the leaves start giving the yards more work than the grass does. Cleanups run long that month, leaves off the turf, out of the beds, off the drive, and one last crisp edge before the ground goes quiet. Red clay yards take a beating in the fall rain, and it takes attention to leave one looking even. Doing that well, week to week, is the whole job around here.
