About Bill's Tree Services

Walhalla lies right at the foot of the Blue Ridge, where fog fills the valley overnight and lifts off the ridge above Stumphouse in the first hour of sun. Bill's Tree Services works those slopes and the yards along them — removals on ground that never sits flat, trimming that keeps a hickory off a metal roof, pruning that opens a crown to light. Mountain weather does not announce itself, and when a storm comes down the escarpment and lays timber across a drive, clearing it is the only item on the schedule. What stays with you is the finish: sawdust swept, brush gone, the hillside looking like the tree simply stepped aside. Out through the upper end of the county, that is the standard.
