Jenkinson Tree Service

About Jenkinson Tree Service

Morning in Summerton comes off Lake Marion as a low mist that hangs in the cypress until the sun burns through it. Jenkinson Tree Service starts its days in that hour — ropes coiled, a pruning plan for the pecan in the side yard, everything moving before the heat sets in. The work runs from trimming that keeps a crown open and balanced, to removal when a tree has finished its life, to the cleanup after a squall drags limbs across the Santee flats. Every cut has a reason behind it, and the proof is what is left standing: shapely, sound, well clear of the roof. When the truck pulls out, the only sign of the morning is a tidier skyline over the fields.
