About Jenkinson Tree Services

August in Summerton builds all afternoon — thunderheads stacking over the cotton rows until the first gust bends the water oaks along the street. Jenkinson Tree Services knows what that wind leaves behind, and storm damage cleanup here means an early start, an open drive, and limbs hauled off before the next front arrives. The rest of the year runs slower: removals threaded between a fence and a porch roof, trimming that lifts a canopy off a rooftop, pruning that gives a young tree a shape it can carry for decades. There is real satisfaction in a piece that drops precisely where it was aimed and a lawn combed smooth behind it. Across the flat Clarendon County country, the trees stand a little straighter for it.
