Powell's Lawn Care and Maintenance

About Powell's Lawn Care and Maintenance

September in Starr smells like dry stalks and cut grass, the fields going pale along the Rocky River bottoms and the evenings finally cool enough to work late. Powell's Lawn Care and Maintenance runs the round then as it does all season — mowing, sharp lines along walks and drives, trimming close where the mower cannot reach, and leaf and yard cleanup as the trees begin letting go. Keeping a place up is mostly showing up in order, week to week, until the yard simply looks that way out of habit. Homes and small properties around Starr, Iva and out toward Anderson are on the list. The quiet reward is the last pass of an afternoon, when the lines are even and the walk is swept.
