About Stone's Equipment Services

St. Stephen keeps one of the old Santee country landmarks, St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, its brick walls raised in the 1760s. Not far off, water from Lake Moultrie pours through the powerhouse and fish lift on the Rediversion Canal. Stone's Equipment Services, an equipment services business as the name says, holds a lawn care listing in this Berkeley County town. Late summer brings heavy, still mornings with haze off the water and grass growing thick in the sandy soil. Steady mowing, trimmed borders and sharp edges hold a yard together through the warm months, leaving a lawn as settled and squared-off as that old church brickwork.
