About McClintock Lawn

Lake Blalock goes glassy in the last hour of a June evening, and the yards along the north county roads cool down right along with it. McClintock Lawn works that end of Spartanburg County, cutting grass that grows thick in the humid stretch between the water and the woods. Lakeside lots come with slopes, shorelines and shade pockets, and each of those wants a slightly different pass with the mower. Trimming goes down to the tree bases and around the posts, edges get defined, and the drive is blown clean before the truck rolls. Evening light on a freshly cut lawn is about as good as the trade gets.
