About Hernandez Tree Services

Highway 11 swings along the foot of the mountains at Marietta, and by June the shoulders are green to the point of showing off — poplar, oak, and a wall of kudzu that would take a house if anyone let it. Hernandez Tree Services keeps that growth honest around Slater-Marietta: pruning and trimming crowns back off rooflines and porch corners, removing hardwoods that have leaned too far over a house, clearing what a summer storm brings down off the slope. Thunder builds against the escarpment most July afternoons and comes down the valley in a hurry, and the work after is limbs out of the drive, tops out of the yard, every bit of it carried off. A crown shaped right sits lighter and better balanced, and the grass underneath finally gets its share of sun. Slater, Marietta, Travelers Rest, Tigerville and the foothills along the scenic highway are all close.
