Swamp Rabbit Tree Co

About Swamp Rabbit Tree Co

Snow is a rare visitor here, and when it does come the whole place goes quiet — schools shut, the creeks run black between white banks, and no driveway gets opened unless somebody opens it. Swamp Rabbit Tree Co is out on those mornings with plow and shovel, freeing drives and walkways so a street of stranded houses can rejoin the world. Ice matters more than depth in this country; a quarter inch on a sloped drive will hold a car hostage all day, so de-icer goes down where the sun will never reach. The part worth waiting for is the sound at the end of it — tires on wet pavement instead of nothing at all. Snow clearing, ice treatment and storm-day callouts around Simpsonville.
