Cobb's Tree N Lawn

About Cobb's Tree N Lawn

In November the old oaks over Utica's mill-village streets let go all at once, and a yard can disappear beneath them in two days. Cobb's Tree N Lawn spends that stretch raking, blowing and hauling until the grass shows again, then keeps it showing through the mild months that follow. The rest of the season it is mowing, trimming around trunks and fence lines, edging, and keeping beds clean under the canopy. Shade lawns in Seneca need a lighter touch and a taller cut, and they get one. There is a quiet pleasure in the last pass of a leaf cleanup, when the lawn comes back green underneath.
