About Modern Turf - Rembert

High summer on the sandy ridge between Rembert and Bishopville, the Bermuda grass grows like it is being paid to. Modern Turf - Rembert meets it head-on: mowing on a tight rotation, cutting drives and walks back to a hard border, trimming around every post and tree. Heat is the constant from June into September, and grass held at the right height keeps its color straight through it. There is something to be said for a fresh-cut yard at six in the evening, stripes running the length of it, everything squared away. When the season turns, the same rounds become leaf work and cutting back for winter.
