Dante's Lawn & Landscape

About Dante's Lawn & Landscape

Pontiac sits in the Sandhills, where the soil runs pale and grainy beneath the longleaf pines and rain vanishes into it almost as fast as it falls. Dante's Lawn & Landscape works that ground northeast of Columbia with mowing, trimming, edging and a full blow-off, plus mulch and shrub trimming to hold the beds against sand that never wants to stay put. Centipede and Bermuda take the Midlands sun hard by July, so mowing height and timing do a great deal of the work. Pine straw and needles come down out here all year, and clearing them is half of what makes a yard look kept. The clean line where turf meets driveway is worth the extra pass it takes.
