Upstate Landscapes

About Upstate Landscapes

By three o'clock on a July afternoon the anvil clouds are already stacking over the Blue Ridge north of Pickens, and everybody with a mower is watching them. Upstate Landscapes works around that weather, starting early and finishing yards before the first thunder rolls down the valley. Mowing, trimming, edging and the drive blown off, done in that order and done before rain resets the whole schedule. Those storms are what make the Upstate so green and so relentless; the grass takes every drop and asks for the mower again. A yard kept on rotation through July never gets away from anyone.
