About From the Ground Up Landscaping

Out toward Dacusville the land rolls in long ridges and the clay beneath it is orange as a flowerpot, ground that bakes hard in July and turns slick with the first thunderstorm. From the Ground Up Landscaping mows the yards laid over that soil, where a lawn is only ever as good as the footing under it. Weekly cutting, string trimming along the fence rows, edging where turf runs at the gravel, and everything blown back off the drive. In high summer the grass wants cutting more often than anyone wants to cut it, which is exactly why a set day is worth keeping. A ridge-top yard mowed in straight lines can be read from a good way off.
