About Buddy's Chain Saw Services

Wind comes down the Oolenoy valley in October and leaves the yards of Pickens littered with sweetgum balls, pine straw and limbs off the water oaks. Buddy's Chain Saw Services clears the ground back to green first, raking, blowing and hauling the fallen litter off so the mower has something clean to run over. Then comes the cut itself, straight passes, tight trimming at the foundation, a real edge laid along the walk. Autumn in the Upstate is long and mild and the fescue keeps going well past the first frost, so the route keeps going with it. By dusk the yard smells like cut grass and cold air and the driveway is bare concrete again.
