Mishue's Lawn Service

About Mishue's Lawn Service

The Great Pee Dee makes its slow turn below Pamplico, wide and brown under the cypress, and the fields between here and Florence run to soybeans and tobacco. Mishue's Lawn Service works the yards in town and along those county roads — mowing, edging, string trimming, clippings blown off every bit of concrete. Late summer is the hard stretch: humid before sunrise, the grass growing back nearly as fast as it is cut, so the schedule keeps its own pressure. When the leaves come down, cleanup takes over and the lawns get their last low pass of the year. Nothing dresses up a house on a two-lane road like grass cut straight and edges cut clean.
