Roman Home Maintenance

About Roman Home Maintenance

November mornings in Pacolet arrive with frost on the windshields and woodsmoke drifting down off the ridges, the hardwoods dropping the last of their color into everybody's yard. That stretch is the busiest one for Roman Home Maintenance — leaves cleared off the turf and out of the beds, the season's final cuts taken, edges recut where the summer blurred them. Through the warm months the routine is mowing, trimming around foundations and fence posts, hedge shaping, and blowing the walks and drive clean before pulling out. Yards up here sit against woods and hillside, so there is always something to tidy at the margins. A raked lawn on a cold clear morning above the Pacolet River is a fine thing to leave behind.
