Heywood's Lawn Care

About Heywood's Lawn Care

By late October the water oaks over the streets of Orangeburg West begin letting go — a few leaves at a time, then all at once after a windy night. Heywood's Lawn Care meets the season where it lands: leaves blown out of the beds and off the turf, the last cuts of the year taken a little lower, edges recut where summer growth crept over the concrete. In the warm months it is steady mowing and trimming, hedges kept off the porch rails, weeds pulled from the pine straw before they spread. The reward is a lawn that looks tended in every month, not only the easy ones. Hard to beat a swept drive and a clean yard on a cool Carolina morning.
