Nelson's Lawn Care

About Nelson's Lawn Care

Olar is small enough to walk end to end, a Bamberg County town of quiet streets with the Salkehatchie's dark country not far to the south. Nelson's Lawn Care mows those yards and the ones out along the farm roads, edging beside walks, trimming close to steps and posts, blowing the clippings clean. In winter the light goes thin and yellow by four in the afternoon and the work is cleanup — leaves cleared, beds tidied, everything squared for spring. Then March arrives and it all starts moving again, week after week, right through the long heat. A town this size keeps track of who looks after their grass, and it shows from the road.
