Dennis' Lawn Care

About Dennis' Lawn Care

Saturday afternoon in the older North Augusta neighborhoods sounds like cicadas and one mower somewhere two streets over, crepe myrtles dropping their pink confetti across the sidewalks. Dennis' Lawn Care is often that mower, working yard to yard on a route he knows by heart — cut, trim the fence corners, edge the walk, blow the drive clean. The pace is unhurried but nothing gets skipped, and the same lawns get the same care week after week through the long Southern growing season. There is a particular pleasure in the last pass, when the stripe lines up and the whole yard finally reads as one piece. Then the ramp goes up and the truck rolls on to the next one.
