Palmetto Lawns

About Palmetto Lawns

By three o'clock on a July afternoon the thunderheads are stacking up white over Aiken County, and everyone working outside is watching the sky and doing the math. Palmetto Lawns keeps that clock — cut, trim, edge, clear the concrete, trailer gate closed before the first fat drops hit the road. Bermuda and centipede love this heat and grow like they are being paid to, which is why the schedule holds tight all summer. Mulch goes down to keep beds from baking, and shrubs get trimmed back into their shape. Then the rain comes through, the pines go dark green, and Monday it all begins again.
