About Evergreen Gardens Landscape Co.

April lays a film of yellow pine pollen over everything in New Ellenton — porch rails, truck hoods, the mailbox — and then the first hard rain washes it away and the grass comes up hungry. Evergreen Gardens Landscape Co. meets that first flush with the season's opening cuts, trimming and edging, and beds cleaned out and re-mulched around the dogwoods and crape myrtles. Growth moves fast in the Sandhills once it starts, so the rhythm stays steady week to week instead of heroic once a month. Shrubs get shaped while they are still soft, and the clippings leave with the truck. Spring here is short and generous, and it rewards anyone who shows up on time.
