About J.Locklair & Son LLC

Neeses is farm country — cotton and beans laid out in long rows, the Edisto carrying its dark water not far off through the cypress. J.Locklair & Son LLC keeps lawns cut and trimmed across that stretch of Orangeburg County, on town lots and on places set back at the end of a dirt drive. Field dust settles on everything out here, so blowing the drive and walk clean at the end is half of what makes a yard look finished. Summer heat comes early and stays late, which puts the mowers out at first light and the edging done before noon. Come fall it is leaves and cleanup, and then the quiet stretch when the fields are picked and the light goes long and low.
