On a still October afternoon the side streets go gold, leaves coming down faster than anybody can keep up with and collecting along the curbs and fence bottoms. Modern Day Landscaping handles the sweep of that: late-season mowing, edges trimmed sharp, leaves and clippings hauled away so the grass underneath gets its last light of the year. Through spring and summer the rhythm is steadier — cutting and trimming week by week so the turf never gets out ahead of anyone. It is ordinary work with an unmistakable result; you can tell from the street which houses have someone looking after them. Myrtle Beach and the towns nearby.
