About Yogi's Turf Lawn Care LLC

Come late summer the thunderheads stack up over the Cooper River, drop an hour of rain on Mount Pleasant, and by evening the whole town smells green. Yogi's Turf Lawn Care LLC works the days after that, when a yard has shot up overnight and needs cutting back into shape. Down in the Old Village, where the lanes run out to the Pitt Street Bridge and the marsh turns gold at low light, an even cut and a swept sidewalk are simply how a street carries itself. The work is mowing, edging, string trimming around mailboxes and fence lines, then blowing the last of the clippings clear of the drive. Along Highway 17 the sweetgrass stands keep their own hours and the palmettos clatter in the wind off the water; a lawn held level and tidy belongs in that picture. It is plain work, and it shows from the curb, which is the whole point of doing it well.
