At dawn on Molasses Creek the water lies like glass and the marsh smells of the whole coast at once, and not a single mower has started yet. Tidewater Landscape, LLC begins there — mowing, edging, trimming and clearing through the neighborhoods that back up to the tidal creeks. Salt, sand and shade make Mount Pleasant turf a particular thing to grow, so cutting height, feeding and weed control shift with the season rather than staying fixed. Beds are cleaned and mulched, hedges are held in line, and clippings get cleared off the drive before the truck moves on. By the time the tide has emptied out, a handful of yards look better than they did at sunrise.
