Low Country Lawn And Order

About Low Country Lawn And Order

Twice a day the tide climbs Jeremy Creek and lets itself back out again, and the mowing in McClellanville keeps about the same hours — early, while the marsh still holds its cool. Low Country Lawn And Order cuts the yards under the village oaks, where salt air and sandy ground have their own opinions about how grass grows. Mowing, edging and trimming here come down to one clean line drawn between green lawn and an oyster-shell drive. By the time the boats are out past the docks, the clippings are blown off the walk and the gate is latched behind them. A yard ought to look the way this village looks: tended, unhurried, at ease beside the water.
