About Southern Scapes Landscaping & Garden Center

Winter in this part of Horry County is short and pale — a handful of frosted mornings, centipede lawns gone the color of straw, and low light crossing the fields outside Loris. Southern Scapes Landscaping & Garden Center uses those weeks for the work the growing season crowds out: leaves cleared, beds cut back, edges reestablished along drives and walks. When the grass wakes in March the mowing starts again and does not let up until the nights turn cool. Trimming, edging and blowing down, week by week, so a yard never looks like it is catching up. Kept that way, a place looks intentional in every month of the year.
