About Southern Cuts Landscaping Services

Evening comes slow to Lexington in August, and the light off the Old Mill pond turns the color of sweet tea. Southern Cuts Landscaping Services works Twelve Mile Creek's side of town, mowing, trimming and edging until the line between grass and walk is a single clean stroke. Crape myrtles scatter their confetti across the Main Street sidewalks all summer, and a blower clears it before anyone thinks to mention it. Come fall the work turns to leaves and yard cleanup, hauling out everything the water oaks decide to let go. The pleasure is in the last look back: a yard squared up, the driveway swept, the smell of cut grass still hanging in the humid air.
