About Palmetto Lawn and Landscape

Run Highway 6 south out of Lexington in late summer and the fields go on a good long while before the pines close in again. Palmetto Lawn and Landscape covers that stretch of country and the streets back in town alike — mowing, string trimming, edging drives and walks, taking the clippings off the concrete. Beds are weeded and mulched, hedges cut back, small plantings kept inside their bounds. When the leaves arrive the yards get cleared before anything can mat down over the grass. Late in the day the light lies flat across a fresh-cut lawn and shows every line in it, and that is the part worth getting right.
