About Jonathan landscaping

First light in Pine Ridge comes through longleaf pines, and the sandhills give up their cool early. Jonathan landscaping starts there and works out toward Lexington as the morning warms — grass cut, edges pulled straight along the drive, the trimmer taken around the posts and the shed. Beds are weeded and mulched, shrubs kept off the windows, the walks left bare. In fall the needles come down in drifts and get raked out of the corners and carried away. There is a plain pride in a yard finished before noon, standing crisp under a Midlands sun.
