About Duncan Lawncare

Saturday morning in downtown Landrum is shop windows full of old furniture, coffee on the sidewalk, and freight rolling by on the line toward Saluda, a small town that has kept its own shape. Duncan Lawncare keeps the yards around it in matching condition: mowed on schedule, trimmed at the trunks and posts, edged along the walks, raked clean. Grass in these hills grows in bursts, quick after a warm rain and stalled through a dry August, so the rhythm shifts month to month and the route has to shift with it. There is genuine pride in pulling up to a property, spending an hour, and leaving it better than anyone expected. Multiply that by a town's worth of yards and you get a street worth driving down slowly.
