About Liberty Landscapes LLC

Out at Lamar the land lies flat and open, Darlington County fields running to a distant treeline with nothing to interrupt the sky. Liberty Landscapes LLC works that country, mowing and trimming and edging yards where the soil runs sandy and thunderheads stack over the pines by four in the afternoon. What shows at the end of a visit is the contrast: a close, even cut set against all that open farmland, and the walk left clean. Autumn brings pecan leaves down the town's side streets and turns the work toward cleanups and getting beds ready for a mild Pee Dee winter. It is ordinary work done carefully, on ground the crew knows by heart.
