Late spring, an hour before dark, the marsh fills right to the top of the grass and the yards along the creeks start blinking with fireflies. Romero's Landscaping keeps those places in order through the whole long growing season — mowing on a weekly turn, crisp edges along the concrete, trimming out the corners a mower can never reach, beds kept mulched and free of weeds. Island grass grows thick in the humidity, so a clean cut takes a sharp blade and a regular return. Shrubs are brought to shape, fallen limbs and leaf debris gathered up, walkways left open. There is real pride in a lawn that looks composed from the street.
