Cruz Lawn & Tree

About Cruz Lawn & Tree

A few miles down the road the Angel Oak holds its enormous limbs out over the ground like it has all the time in the world, and something of that patience belongs to Johns Island generally. Cruz Lawn & Tree keeps the smaller green things in order — mowing, running the trimmer along fences and foundations, edging the concrete until the line reads sharp from the street, and clearing away the clippings and blown-down litter the wind leaves scattered. Under live oaks the grass comes in thin and particular, so the cut gets adjusted rather than forced. Shrubs are brought back to shape, beds cleaned out and mulched, leaf litter collected before it can mat down. The reward is pulling out of a driveway and glancing in the mirror at a yard that finally looks settled.
