About Rivers Lawn and Landscape LLC

Jefferson sits up in the Chesterfield County sandhills, where the soil runs pale and quick-draining and the longleaf stand in loose ranks along the highway. Rivers Lawn and Landscape LLC mows, edges and trims through a sandhill summer of hard sun and rain that moves over fast and is gone. Sandy ground shows a mower's line beautifully: every pass is legible from the road, so every pass has to be right. Afterward the clippings come off the walk and the yard is handed back plain and finished, which is the whole idea. Scrub oak, pine straw and clean grass between them — that's a Jefferson yard done well.
