About Wards landscaping

September opens the door a crack around Inman — mornings cool enough for sleeves, the pastures toward Campobello still green, the heat gone out of the afternoon by six. Wards landscaping likes that stretch of the year, when the grass slows down and a cut holds its shape for days on end. Mowing, trimming and edging run the same as always, with the blower clearing the concrete before the truck rolls out. Once the leaves begin, they come off the lawn and out of the corners instead of getting pushed into the beds. It is the season a yard finally looks the way somebody pictured it back in April.
